These are some the questions potential clients have asked me, and some I wish they would have asked:
Q. You used to be a health coach and now you are a personal trainer – are you not offering long-term health coaching programs anymore?
A. Right now, I am doing personal training, in person. You can still book a nutrition session or two online but no more 4-month nutrition programs.
Q. Do I have to be a vegan to work with you?
A. No, you do not have to be a vegan to work with me. I work with all types of eaters and want you to find what is best for you.
Q. Where are you located? How do I work with you?
A. I live in Kfar Saba, Israel and I work with personal training clients within a 15 km radius. So basically, the Sharon, Netanya, Petach Tikvah and everywhere in between. I will either come to your home, a park near you, or we will meet at Park Kfar Saba which is right across from my home so parking is free for you.
Q. Do you work with clients online?
A. At the moment I am working mainly in person, but you can still book a nutrition session online. We will speak via phone, Facetime or Skype. Once I figure out how to do online personal training, that will become available also.
Q. Do you work with children?
A. Yes! Ages 12 and up.
Q. Do you work with men?
A. Yes, men and women, ages 12-100.
Q. What if I am totally unfit and out of shape?
A. Oh darling, that is why you hire a personal trainer! I can work with any level as long as your doctor has cleared you for exercise.
Q. What if I am obese, have high blood pressure, diabetes, fibromyalgia, or some other injury or disease?
A. There are certain conditions that will require a doctor’s written permission and/or completion of a medically supervised physical stress test in order for me to safely train you. But please don’t let that deter you! I will help you through the process.
Q. Can I lose weight with just exercise? Without changing my diet?
A. Unlikely. Caloric intake is the most important factor in weight control. You can’t out-train a bad diet. But I will help you with your diet too if you wish.
Q. Am I going to have to workout a ton?
A. For best results, book 2-3 personal training sessions a week and engage in some walking on off days.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. Prices range from 100-200nis/session depending on how many sessions you book. Group classes are even less. There is a free trial for everyone!
